Labs, loveable labs. That’s our specialty! We are a small rescue focusing on saving labs out of hard to access and very rural shelters and make them available for adoption. Like all rescue groups, we are perennially broke. We rescue and adopt out a very small amount of labs each year. We pay for our rescued dogs to get medical treatment, sometimes even surgery. Many of them come to us in poor condition, with skin ailments, heartworm positive, and are unspayed and unneutered or even pregnant. Beyond medical costs, we also must pay kennel charges when they are undergoing treatment or when we have more dogs than we do foster families.
